At first glance, the Shishkabobs may seem like your average skewered snacks—but take a closer look and you'll find a modular bunch of characters who twist, tumble, swap, and spin their way through hilarious adventures and heartfelt discoveries. Whether it’s a head that does a 360°, a knee where a nose should be, or a punchline that accidentally reshishkabobs itself, nothing is quite normal—and that’s exactly the point.

The Shishkabobs began as a concept for a children's picture book series and quickly grew into something much bigger: a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the beauty of being different. With themes of identity, neurodiversity, family dynamics, and community, these stories connect with kids, grownups, and every wonderfully weird person in between.

We believe in laughter with a purpose, storytelling with a twist, and that sometimes the best way to understand the world is to turn it sideways and see what falls out.
